Hello Wonderseekers!
Merry Christmas (or Happy Christmas) to those who celebrate!
I’ll keep this week’s message short and sweet as I imagine you’ve got eggnog to drink and candy to eat and presents to unwrap. Or maybe you are the one (more than likely a woman) making the eggnog, doling out the candy, and cleaning up the wrapping. In either case, I hope this holiday brings you everything you desire.
If by chance, you are alone this Christmas, hurrah! No forced family fun and no sharing! However, if you wish you weren’t, perhaps practice some gratitude while offering to do a shop for an elderly neighbour or two. Then settle in for The Christmas Story, which is sure to make you smile.
What if you don’t celebrate Christmas? Order a Chinese takeaway and binge-watch a series or two. And if you are one of the millions who are working on Christmas, thank you for taking one for the team so others can be with their families today!
I’ll be in France with family, making pain d’epices and drinking vin chaud. I’m not a fan of the holiday, but I can vibe with the mulled wine!
