Now that the summer is officially over, and in honor of Labor Day in the US, I thought I would get back to my original wonder roots with a little bit of wonder at work. I just finished The 100-Year Life: Living and Working in an Age of Longevity by Lynda Gratton and Andrew Scott, and there are all sorts of links to wonder at work. The authors make the point that to thrive until we’re 100 we need to explore, experience, experiment, and generally seek wonder. That time of freewheeling, open curiosity helps us become lifelong learners (and unlearners.) It also teaches us to contemplate the world around us. More thoughts on that in the video.
